It’s the start of another week. It’s Monday! What are you Reading is hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. I have several books on the go, and some others I hope to get to, so here goes.
What I Read/Listened to or finished this week: I read 2 novels, 3 MG books, 1 book of images, and listened to 10 audiobooks for a total of 16 books. I followed my planned TBR somewhat, but did go with several cozy mysteries which were mood reads. If you click on the covers, it will take you to my review.
What Am I Reading Now:
What Will I Read Next: My theme for April is to read as many MG and YA books that are on my TBR shelf. Many from NG and EW that should have been read and reviewed long ago. I am trying to make amends. I also have a few blog tours and some books from the library. I received several audiobooks for review that I will also be listening to over the next couple of weeks. There you have it, lots to choose from over the next couple of weeks.

Yes it is. It was offered free a little while ago and I grabbed it. It is good, I am taking my time reading it. It also has a lot of her photos in it. It is wonderful and most of the poems make me smile, of course there are some sad ones, it is poetry after all. I should finish it in a couple more day. I have been lucky this week and listened or read to a lot of good books. 📚😀💖

It looks like you have a bunch of good books going on. I’m reading Talk Hockey to Me by Kelly Jamieson.

I just finished The Last House on Needless Street, by Catriona Ward which was a brilliant but difficult read, and I’ve started Questland, by Carrie Vaughan which has unicorns, and dragons, and is exactly what I need right now.🦄🐉

I just checked out The Last House on Needless Street on Goodreads and it sounds like a dark story. Now I understand the Unicorns and Dragons. I hope you enjoy it, Kim.

It is very dark, but absolutely brilliant Carla. I just posted my review this morning and gave it 5 stars.

My middle daughter loves the W. Bruce Cameron book series. She’s obsessed with dogs. I’m looking forward to You Are Never Alone. Max Lucado’s books are always so positive. Have a great week, Carla! ❤️

I thought I would try one of his MG books. My grandkids love dogs, so I think I may pick a few up for read alouds when they spend a weekend with me. I have been reading the Max Lucado book over the last little while. I hope to finish it this week. Some good ideas and always a lot to think about.

They are #1 and #3. I read the second one, but wanted to go back and read the first and Amazon had it on sale, so I grabbed it a bit ago. Now that the third is due out and I am on the tour, I need to get to it. I am sure I will enjoy them. 💖📚
