This is a book I won in a blog draw and was just able to pick it up from my cousin on my way home from Florida. I can’t tell you how many times I have read this to my grandson over the last two week.

My theme for this week’s Saturday Morning For Kids, is GET OUTSIDE! With spring just around the corner in the Northern Hemisphere, all of the books I am featuring today encourage the reader or listener, to go out and do something, whether it is gardening, visiting a park, going for a walk/hike or just playing or doing activities with family and friends. Time to get outside! All of these books were provided by the publisher upon request. The ratings and opinions shared are my own.

Saturday Evening For Kids: Where Snow Angels Go #BookReview #Audiobook

Where Snow Angels Go is such a beautiful book. I originally listened to the audiobook, but wanted to see the illustrations. I couldn’t find a copy at my library, but went out to youtube. There were a few videos of people reading the book as well as a clip of Maggie O’Farrell reading a few pages. I was able to see the illustrations and they are absolutely gorgeous. I will be purchasing a copy of this one for my grandchildren.

Three MG/YA Books: Enola Holmes and the Black Barouche, Emily Windsnap and the Tides of Time & The Very, Very Far North #BookReview

These three books are all geared to different ages. Enola Holmes is one for MG readers into YA, the Emily Windsnap series is great for MG readers and The Very, Very Far North is a good read aloud for older primary students, but if read independently, it would work for middle grade children. At one time, I received all of these books from the publisher. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

My youngest grandson comes over and spends one day a week with grandma. We play, laugh and of course read and look at books. Here are a few that I read to him over the last few weeks.

Saturday Evening For Kids: Picture Books to read with and to your young ones #BookReviews

So I put this post together yesterday, but just realized that I didn’t publish it. Whoops.

Over the last month or so, I have read many, many, many books with my grandchildren. This group are ones that I read with my grandson (8 years old) and occasionally his sister (5 years old). I have included their thoughts, comments and reactions when they fit. All of these books were provided by the publisher at one time. All ratings and opinions shared are our own.
