Saturday Evening For Kids: Where Snow Angels Go #BookReview #Audiobook

Where Snow Angels Go is such a beautiful book. I originally listened to the audiobook, but wanted to see the illustrations. I couldn’t find a copy at my library, but went out to youtube. There were a few videos of people reading the book as well as a clip of Maggie O’Farrell reading a few pages. I was able to see the illustrations and they are absolutely gorgeous. I will be purchasing a copy of this one for my grandchildren.

Three MG/YA Books: Enola Holmes and the Black Barouche, Emily Windsnap and the Tides of Time & The Very, Very Far North #BookReview

These three books are all geared to different ages. Enola Holmes is one for MG readers into YA, the Emily Windsnap series is great for MG readers and The Very, Very Far North is a good read aloud for older primary students, but if read independently, it would work for middle grade children. At one time, I received all of these books from the publisher. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

Saturday Morning for Kids: Toddler Books

This meme was started by Rae Longest at Powerful Women Readers. As I am a grandmother, who loves to read to her grandchildren, a mother who loved to read to and with her children, and a retired teacher librarian, this meme really attracted me.

My youngest grandson comes over and spends one day a week with grandma. We play, laugh and of course read and look at books. Here are a few that I read to him over the last few weeks.

Over the last month or so, I have read many, many, many books with my grandchildren. This group are ones that I read with my grandson (8 years old) and occasionally his sister (5 years old). I have included their thoughts, comments and reactions when they fit. All of these books were provided by the publisher at one time. All ratings and opinions shared are our own.

These were all books I read to one or all of them and I added comments or reactions from them. All books were provided by the publisher upon request. The rating and opinions shared are ours.
