Toddler/Children’s Books: Mini-Reviews

All the books i this post are basically stories for toddlers, or for early readers to read independently. I read them with one or both of my grandchildren.  All the books reviewed in this post contain comments and thoughts from them where applicable. The publishers provided copies of these books via Netgalley, upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are our own. Continue reading “Toddler/Children’s Books: Mini-Reviews”

Children’s Book: Mini-Reviews

I spent two days with my two oldest grandchildren, one at a time over the last week. We were so happy to see each other, that we read books, played games, did puzzles and watched movies. I loved being able to read with them in person and not just over the computer. All the books reviewed in this post contain comments and thoughts from them where applicable. The publishers provided copies of these books via Netgalley, upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are our own. Continue reading “Children’s Book: Mini-Reviews”

Children’s Books, Mini-Reviews

Another group of reviews on a group of children’s books I read. I only read a couple with my grandchildren, so most are just my thoughts. All of these books were received from the publishers upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.

Children’s Books, Mini-Reviews

Hi everyone. Welcome to this group of mini-reviews of children’s books. I read these during the year in 2019, but for some reason, I never posted reviews. I have reread them all to try and remember what I thought and if I read them to my grandchildren, what they thought as well. All of these books were provided through Netgalley, however, the rating, ideas and opinions shared are mine and my grandkids. I wrote this post a couple of weeks ago and just realized  that I had never posted it. So, here it is. Continue reading “Children’s Books, Mini-Reviews”

Mini-Reviews, Children’s Books

This is the last set of books that I read to and/or with my grandchildren before I left to go south. I forgot to post reviews, so here they are. I had to try and remember what their comments and reactions were, but I think I remembered the gist of them. Again, all books were provided by the publisher upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own or my grandchildren’s. Continue reading “Mini-Reviews, Children’s Books”

Saturday Morning For Kids (January 25, 2020)

This meme was started by Rae Longest at Powerful Women Readers. As I am a grandmother, who loves to read to her grandchildren, a mother who loved to read to and with her children, and a retired teacher librarian, this meme really attracted me. If you love children’s books, or have a favourite from your childhood, join us in introducing them to a new generation of readers. Feel free to use my logo above, but link back to my post as well. Mini-Reviews of Children’s Books

I got so far behind on my reviews of Children’s Books. I can read them to my grandchildren several at a time, but then have to take the time to write the reviews. Here are the last several that I read to them before Christmas. Once again, I have tried to include their comments and/or reactions. All of these books were received from the publishers via Netgalley. The comments, ideas and opinions contained within are my own. Continue reading “Mini-Reviews of Children’s Books”

Mini-Reviews, Children’s Books

Once again, I am reviewing several children’s books that I read to my grandchildren. Most of these were a bit old for my granddaughter, but she still sat and listened well. My grandson gave his opinion or asked questions about most of them and I have included some of that in the reviews. All were provided by the publishers through Netgalley. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.
