Today was Canada Day and my immediate family came over for a BBQ, to decorate cookies, visit and of course swim. We had an awesome day. I needed a day like this.
To all my fellow Canadian, Happy Victoria Day. It doesn’t really feel like a holiday or long weekend right now, but hopefully you can get outside and maybe have a barbecue.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that anyone would think what I had to say was interesting enough to follow me, this just blew me away.

This past weekend, I spent a few days with my daughter. We headed to London to see The Lion King (Broadway Production). We drove to Missisauga, just outside Toronto to check in to our hotel. Because the Caribana Festival was in Toronto this weekend, we ended up taking the subway into town due to the numerous road closures. I am a Subway Neophyte, but we made it. The other neat thing was seeing the people who had been in the parade in their costumes riding the subway with us.
