I’m Back Online

Hello all,

I have a lot of catching up to do. I visited my sister last week for a few days, then forgot my laptop cord at her place. She mailed it to me and I just got it back a few minutes ago. I am old and not very good using my phone to blog, so have a lot of blogs to read, as well as things to post over the next few day. I am so happy to be able to use my laptop again.

On the Road Again

On my way to Florida for the next 12 weeks. We left yesterday and had a good drive. We stopped in Knoxville for the night. I picked up a bit of a stomach bug, so it might be a long drive today as I will probably have to stop more often. Gainesville Florida, tonight. Have a wonderful day everyone. I probably won’t be on much for the next couple of days.

Visit to my Daughter in Nova Scotia

I don’t want to bore everyone with my trip details and my pictures, but I wanted to share some of my visit to see my daughter, her partner and Sherman!

I loved seeing my granddoggy over the last 9 days. Here is a sampling of his moods from the day I arrived until yesterday when we decorated for Christmas. The kids won’t be home this year, so we did the next best thing. I will post about both my trips (Cancun and Halifax) this week, once I get back home.

They’re Gone 😥😥

Some of you may be aware that my daughter (my baby), my son-in-law and my granddog were moving halfway across the country to Nova Scotia. I was very strong, until they were getting ready to climb into the car, then I lost it. It is about 2100 km. or 1300 miles from me. This is quite a change from a 20 minute drive. I have spent most of the day breaking out into tears. I will miss them, but have my first trip planned to see them in two months, with a car full of stuff they ran out of room for.

Computer Woes

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am having major computer issues. I am old school, I use my laptop to post blog posts, read your blogs and comment. Several weeks ago, I started having keyboard issues with keys sticking and not typing. Last week, the letters N, Y, and H stopped working and I had to find a letter somewhere on the page and copy and paste. This was not going to work.

Today was Canada Day and my immediate family came over for a BBQ, to decorate cookies, visit and of course swim. We had an awesome day. I needed a day like this.
