It’s the start of another week. It’s Monday! What are you Reading is hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. I have several books on the go, and some others I hope to get to, so here goes.
What I Read/Listened to or finished this week: I read 3 novels, 1 novella, 2 MG books, and listened to 9 audiobooks for a total of 14 books. I followed my planned TBR somewhat, but did go with a couple of mood reads. If you click on the covers and I have reviewed the book, it will take you to that post.
What Am I Reading Now:
What Will I Read Next: My theme for April is to read as many MG and YA books that are on my TBR shelf. Many from NG and EW that should have been read and reviewed long ago. I am trying to make amends. I also have a few blog tours and some books that I just want to read. It is also National Poetry Month and Autism Awareness Month, so I hope to read a couple of poetry books and books with characters who have autism. There you have it, lots to choose from.

Looks like you had a good reading week! I really want to read Absence of Alice and Murder by Page One. I am glad you enjoyed them! Four Winds is one I am considering. I hope you are enjoying your reading!

They were both really good. I love Sherry Harris’ series and this one was one of the best. Thanks.

That’s a lot of books for one week! It usually takes me a month to get that number.
I saw The Rock when he was still wrestling and would you believe we were so close, we made eye contact. Good times. 😉 Hope your week is great, Carla. Happy reading! ❤️

If it wasn’t for audiobooks, I would only read half of that. I am going to review both Rock books when I finish the second one. My husband and I were huge wrestling fans. We used to go to Detroit and catch them live as often as we can. We never saw The Rock though, our timeframe was Macho Man, The Hulk, Rick Flair.

Macho Man was a favorite! I don’t know anyone who didn’t love Hulk either. I was a child when they were at the top of their careers. It really takes me back. ❤️
I’ll definitely be adding those books. I’ve only read his old memoir.

I liked the Brenda Novak one, but I wanted an epilogue. I want to know what happens after it ends. Too many wonders for me, but I am glad I read it and liked it. 📚📚💖

Maybe she is writing a second book? Maybe she is making it into a series?🙄📚❤

Perhaps. The story does end okay, but I just want to know what happens to all the other characters.

Thanks Jo, I love lavender and wish I could get some to grow in my gardens, but have not had any luck.

I was declined for that one, but got the audiobook through the publicity department. I hope to get to it this week as well. I am hoping we both love it, he is one of my favourite authors. Of course, being Canadian helps too.

William Morrow and.Custom House are really stingy with their approvals. I wound up sending a request via email and they took pity on me. I’m glad you were able to get the audiobook. I think you’ll like this.

Thanks but one was only 50 page novella and 2 were MG books which are relatively short, so it isn’t as much as it sounds.
