Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews and Marlene of Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, Netgalley, Edelweiss or publishers, gifts or books you won. This week, I once again added more books than I had hoped. Some series I follow had new additions as well as some recommendations from fellow bloggers. I am sure I will enjoy them all. So, here goes.

Oh My Goodness! Another week with way too many books added to Mount TBR. 15 books and 5 Audiobooks for a total of 20 new additions to my TBR. There are still 7 books and 2 audiobooks pending as well. I am on track to read and/or listen to 12 books, so I definitely added more than a few this week.

I absolutely loved THUG. The movie is also good too. I’m intrigued by the Church Ladies title. Seems scandalous haha. Great haul, Carla.

Thanks Diana. I loved the book, once I started I didn’t stop. A movie? I didn’t know that, I will have to watch it. It does sound a bit scandalous doesn’t it? I hope it is light and fun, but we shall see. 😲😁

Some good selections for sure! I went looking for the Jessica Redland book, but decided to pass since the blurb on NetGalley recommended reading the first two before starting this one. There was another, however, that sounds independent and I’ll try for that one. I have read one book by Redland and enjoyed it.

Thanks Linda. Yes, I think it is best to have read this trilogy in order. I also have the other one and it is a standalone. I have enjoyed all her books.

Great haul! I loved This Is Going To Hurt and The Hate U Give and I’m on the blog tour for Her Dark Lies as well… And I’ve been curious about When A Stranger Comes To Town, but my Netgalley widget didn’t work and in a way it’s probably for the best. xD I’ve heard great things about Magpie Murders! I hope you will enjoy all of these.

Thanks Yvo. I already listened to The Hate U Give and loved it. I might be a bit before I get to This is Going to Hurt as I have some others that need to be read first. I have it for three weeks. So many good books to choose from.

So many great sounding books, Carla! I hope you like The Hate U Give. I loved it. The Invisible Woman is one I am looking forward to reading. I have a nonfiction novel about Virginia Hall I was thinking of reading right after I read that one. Family Secrets at Hedgehog Hollow looks like a good one too. I hope you enjoy all of these! Thanks Wendy, I just finished listening to The Hate U Give and all I can say is WOW! So powerful and timely. It was great to meet the people who knew this victim because the press always try to make it look like they deserved it. I hope I enjoy them all. I do love the Hedgehog Hollow series. Yes, I was quite pleased when I got an email from the publisher. I think I will, it sounds so good. I have read a lot of Historical Fiction lately.
