Deadly Gamble: A World War II Mystery by Kate Parker #BookReview #BlogTour #Giveaway @dollycas

Welcome to my stop on the Blog Tour for Deadly Gamble by Kate Parker. This is the 11th book in this series, but I read it as a standalone and had no problem following the story. I really enjoyed this story and the character of Olivia (Livvy) Redmond. I hope to be able to go back to the beginning and read all the stories in this series, time permitting.

Well, it is twenty days into March and I have enjoyed my immersion into Irish Culture. I have read/listened to 8 books and am starting my 9th. Below I have reviewed two of them, both police procedurals/crime thrillers, although they are from two different series. I have also watched three movies set in Ireland and I have included by thoughts for the most recent one, Evelyn, based on a true story. If you haven’t watched this one, I highly recommend it.

Thriller Thursday 😮: Betrayal & The Housemaid’s Secret #BookReview #Audiobook #2024AudiobookChallenge

Welcome to Thriller Thursday! As an eclectic reader, I enjoy a good thriller, mixed in with all the other genres I read. There are so many sub-genres of thriller that it is easy to keep reading them, yet keep them fresh. Betrayal is a legal thriller from the Robin Lockwood series and The Housemaid’s Secret is a popcorn thriller, one where you just sit back and enjoy the ride. I enjoyed both of these books. Scroll down for my thoughts.
