Police Procedural/Crime Thrillers: Dark Water & Last Breath by Robert Bryndza #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge #FinishingTheSeries2022 #BeatTheBacklist2022 @Bookouture

I am trying to clear up my backlist, as well as finish some series that I have started. I am enjoying listening to Robert Bryndza’s Detective Erika Foster series. I read the first two and enjoyed them, but I guess I just got sidetracked by other books and recommendations. I am so happy that I got back to Erika and her team. Below, I have reviewed #3 and #4 in this series with three more to enjoy.

Cozy Mystery Mini-Reviews: The Tuesday Night Survivor Club, No Parm No Foul, A Murder Between the Pages #BookReview @LynnCahoon @LindaSReilly7 @PPPress @KensingtonBooks

For those of you who have been following my blog, you know I do enjoy a good, well written cozy mystery. These three definitely fit that bill. I love stories set in libraries or bookstores, so two of these also added that to the mix. I will warn you not to read No Parm No Foul on an empty stomach or you might find yourself scavenging through your fridge to make yourself an ooey, gooey grilled cheese sandwich.

Robert Dugoni: Tracy Crosswhite Short Stories #BookReview

One of my favourite crime thriller/police procedural series is The Tracy Crosswhite series. I did not know about these short stories, until I saw reviews posted on a few blogs I follow. I immediately downloaded all three of them from Kindle Unlimited and recently read all three of them, before reading In Her Tracks, #8 in the series. I don’t think I have ever given a short story 5 stars, but these were so well written, and definitely leave the reader wanting to dive into the series, if you haven’t already.

The Electra McDonnell series intrigued me and when I saw that they were available on audiobook, I jumped at the chance to read them. I enjoyed both, especially the wonderful narration of Alison Larkin.

Her Frozen Cry by Carolyn Arnold #BookReview #BlogTour @Bookouture @Carolyn_Arnold

Her Frozen Cry (Detective Amanda Steele #5) by Carolyn Arnold

Published June 9th 2022 by Bookouture

About the Book: The moon shines through the open window, bathing the woman in pale light. Blood-red wine from a shattered glass soaks into the cream blanket beside her, and her dull eyes stare vacantly at the framed photograph in her hand.

The Forest Tales Series: Saving Vengeance, Desperate Forest, The Jabberwocky Princess #BookReview

I have to thank Julie over at One Book More for introducing me to this series. You can visit her blog to read her thoughts. There are still two more books I need to read, but I will get to them shortly. I enjoyed this novella and the first two full length books in this series. They are all available on Kindle Unlimited if you have that service.
