Two YA Books that Everyone Needs to Read: Dear Martin, Dear Justyce by Nic Stone #BookReview #LibraryLoveChallenge

I read Dear Martin in 2020 and needed to read Dear Justyce as well. For those of you who don’t know much about me, I am a 60 something, white woman who knew that racism was alive and well, but didn’t realize or understand exactly what people meant by “White Privilege”. Reading these two books certainly opened my eyes and peeled away the blinders. I definitely recommend that these books be read by anyone and everyone, especially in high schools.

Cress by Marissa Meyer, Narrated by Rebecca Sole

5 Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It has been awhile since I read the first two books in this series, but this was a group book from a challenge, so I grabbed the audiobook from the library and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it was a long one. I have to say that the cover of the audiobook is not my favourite. I love the cover of the hardcover book, but fortunately, I was listening and not looking.
