Twenty by James Grippando, Long Road to Mercy by David Baldacci #AudiobookReviews #LibraryLoveChallenge

With all the Historical Fiction I have read lately, I grabbed a couple of audiobooks from the library by authors that I have enjoyed. These books both involve secrets, government intervention, murder and are tense stories. They definitely did what I was looking for, a bit of escapism, suspending belief and just enjoying the ride while listening to these stories.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune #AudiobookReview #The52BookClub2021

When I first read the synopsis of what The House in the Cerulean Sea was about, I immediately passed. A gnome, a sprite, a wyvern, an unidentifiable green blob, a were-Pomeranian, and the Antichrist living in an orphanage, no thank-you. I don’t really like fantasy anyway so why bother. Well, I continued to see reviews of this book as a great story about acceptance, found family, finding your home, and more, so I decided to give it a try. If I didn’t like it, I could just not finish it. I am here to tell you, that this book will probably go down as one of my favourites this year.
