THE ROAD TO CHRISTMAS by Sheila Roberts #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @htp_books @HarlequinBooks @HarperAudio @_Sheila_Roberts

Two of my favourite type of books are Christmas stories and sweet romance. This is why I was excited to participate in the HTP Books 2022 Holiday Romance Blog Tours. The Road to Christmas was an enjoyable story about family, second chances and Christmas Magic all while on a road trip.

Snowed in For Christmas by Sarah Morgan #BookReview #Audiobook @HTPBooks @HarperAudio @SarahMorgan_

I love reading Christmas books and was thrilled when HTP books announced their slate of wonderful Christmas stories by authors I love. Please join me in wishing Sarah Morgan a Happy Book Publishing Day today as Snowed in For Christmas hits the shelves. This was such a fun story, but it also has some serious issues. Scroll down for my thoughts, a Q&A with Sarah Morgan and an excerpt from the book.

Mini-Reviews: Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake, The Beach Escape #BookReview #Audiobook #Romance

Reading a variety of genres, I love light and easy romance to fit in between thrillers and historical fiction. Both of these romances were enjoyable reads that made me smile. One, The Beach Escape, is sweet and clean, the other, Lizzie Blake’s Mistake, is a bit racy but with a great message. Read on for my thoughts.

#20BooksofSummer: Sweet Summer Sunset by Delores Fossen (19), On a Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher (20) #BookReview #Audiobook #BeatTheBacklist2022 #2022AudiobookChallenge

I did it! I have completed The 20 Books of Summer Challenge. I gave myself an option of 32 books, all with Summer in the title and was able to read or listen to 20 of them. Here are the reviews of the #19 and #20. Fifteen were backlist books, which was another goal for this challenge. Overall, I enjoyed most of them and am ready for 20 Books of Christmas, beginning soon.

Family & Romance: You Only Live Once by Maxine Morrey, It’s Better This Way by Debbie Macomber #BookReview

Two delightful stories about families, and romance. Lots of roadblocks, issues to deal with and many emotions. I recommend both You Only Live Once and It’s Better This Way.

Mini-Reviews: Home at Summer’s End by Alys Murray, Summer Hours by Amy Mason Doan #BookReview #Audiobook #20BooksofSummer2022 #2022AudiobookChallenge #BeatTheBacklist2022

I am almost finished my #20BooksofSummer Challenge with Home at Summers End being #18 and Summer Hours being #19. I am enjoying this challenge even though reading backlist books with “Summer” in the title makes it a bit harder than I thought.

The Key to the Last House Before the Sea by Liz Eeles #BookReview @Bookouture @lizeelesauthor

Happy Book Birthday to Liz Eeles on the publishing of The Key to the Last House Before the Sea. This is the fourth book in the Heaven’s Cove series and I enjoyed it as much as all the others. Although this is the fourth book, it can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend the whole series.

Thank You For Listening by Julia Whelan, Run Rose Run by James Patterson and Dolly Parton #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @justjuliawhelan @DollyParton

I recently listened to two audiobooks that I enjoyed. They are very different from each other, but both good in their own way. I recommend them both to those who enjoy listening to or might want to try listening to audiobooks. I was provided both of these books to listen to upon request. The rating and opinions shared are my own.
