I am always on the lookout for good non-fiction for children. My grandson loves non-fiction books because he likes to learn things, (his words, not mine). Although I have not read these books to him yet, I do plan on getting many of this series for him for his upcoming birthday. All but two of these books come from the Little People, Big Dreams series. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own. Continue reading “Children’s Biographies – Mini Reviews”
All the books i this post are basically stories for toddlers, or for early readers to read independently. I read them with one or both of my grandchildren. All the books reviewed in this post contain comments and thoughts from them where applicable. The publishers provided copies of these books via Netgalley, upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are our own. Continue reading “Toddler/Children’s Books: Mini-Reviews”
I spent two days with my two oldest grandchildren, one at a time over the last week. We were so happy to see each other, that we read books, played games, did puzzles and watched movies. I loved being able to read with them in person and not just over the computer. All the books reviewed in this post contain comments and thoughts from them where applicable. The publishers provided copies of these books via Netgalley, upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are our own. Continue reading “Children’s Book: Mini-Reviews”
In this post, I have reviewed several Early Chapter books for children. They range in audience and difficulty. All were provided to me by the publisher at my request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.

Hi everyone. Welcome to this group of mini-reviews of children’s books. I read these during the year in 2019, but for some reason, I never posted reviews. I have reread them all to try and remember what I thought and if I read them to my grandchildren, what they thought as well. All of these books were provided through Netgalley, however, the rating, ideas and opinions shared are mine and my grandkids. I wrote this post a couple of weeks ago and just realized that I had never posted it. So, here it is. Continue reading “Children’s Books, Mini-Reviews”
This is the last set of books that I read to and/or with my grandchildren before I left to go south. I forgot to post reviews, so here they are. I had to try and remember what their comments and reactions were, but I think I remembered the gist of them. Again, all books were provided by the publisher upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own or my grandchildren’s. Continue reading “Mini-Reviews, Children’s Books”
