Christmas Book Reviews: The Cowboy Cookie Exchange, The Wish, So This is Christmas #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @HarperAudio

I am continuing to work on my 20 Books For Christmas challenge, but I am also reading or listening to books that are not on that list. All three of these were audiobooks that I listened to, and none are on my original list of 20 Books for Christmas. They were all provided to me by the publisher upon request. The ratings and opinions shared are my own.

Mini-Reviews: Lucy Checks In, The Matchmaker’s Gift, The Make-Up Test #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge

All three of these books have an element of love and romance. They are all very different with one being set in France, one being a dual timeline story of a grandmother and granddaughter and one being a second chance romance set in a University. I enjoyed them all to varying degrees and recommend you check one or all of them out.

Stories of Family: The One You’re With by Lauren K. Denton, This is Us by Helen McGinn #BookReview #Audiobook

I enjoy books about family and friendship. Both of these books deal with family upheaval and how they deal with it. There is also an aspect of friendship and community in both stories.

THE ROAD TO CHRISTMAS by Sheila Roberts #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @htp_books @HarlequinBooks @HarperAudio @_Sheila_Roberts

Two of my favourite type of books are Christmas stories and sweet romance. This is why I was excited to participate in the HTP Books 2022 Holiday Romance Blog Tours. The Road to Christmas was an enjoyable story about family, second chances and Christmas Magic all while on a road trip.

Stories of Friendship: Lifesaving for Beginners by Josie Lloyd, The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle by Jennifer Ryan #BookReview #Audiobook @JosieLloydbooks @JenniferiRyan @HQstories @RandomHouse

Stories of friendship, especially multi-generational friendships, are ones that I find uplifting and enjoyable. Lifesaving For Beginners and The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle are very different from each other, but both have themes of friendship and support, as well as strong independent female characters. I enjoyed them both for different reasons and recommend them.

The Little House by the Sea by Tracy Rees

Published August 24th 2022 by Bookouture

The cottage gate swings open to reveal the inky-blue sea and the sandy cove beyond. It’s exactly how Kitty imagined it, except she didn’t expect to be standing here alone…

Stories of Family: The Lost and Found Girl by Maisey Yates, In the Middle of Hickory Lane by Heather Webber #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @HarperAudio @MacmillanAudio @HQNBooks @ForgeReads @maiseyyates @BooksbyHeather

I love books about family whether they are estranged, keeping secrets and finding one another, and these two were wonderful. Both were read/listen, but more listen than read. I enjoyed both of these stories and definitely recommend them if you enjoy Women’s Fiction, Romance, Secrets, and Family. Both of these books were provided to me by the publisher upon request. The ratings and opinions shared are my own.

The Key to the Last House Before the Sea by Liz Eeles #BookReview @Bookouture @lizeelesauthor

Happy Book Birthday to Liz Eeles on the publishing of The Key to the Last House Before the Sea. This is the fourth book in the Heaven’s Cove series and I enjoyed it as much as all the others. Although this is the fourth book, it can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend the whole series.
