If you follow my blog at all, you will have seen how much I love the Little People, Big Dreams series. All of these child friendly biographies feature a well known person (to some people) involved in sports, the arts, science or activism. I have read many of them with or to my grandchildren and hopefully, piqued their interest. I did not read any of these to them, but I enjoyed them. I love learning about new people as well, and these short biographies have definitely had me doing my own search to find out more. I recommend that all school and public libraries carry this series.
