One of the things I missed while wintering in Florida was spending time with my grandkids, especially reading to and with them. Over the last couple of weeks, I have read a lot of books with them and here are our thoughts on four that were provided through Netgalley. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

The Kitty Couture Mystery series is just a fun, southern cozy mystery series that I have enjoyed and I am glad I finally got around to reading the last two books in the series. The boutique Lacy owns is called Furry Godmother Pet boutique, and at the beginning of each chapter there is a tip from The Furry Godmother. Actually, I listened to both of them as they were available through my library on Hoopla. Both were narrated by Brittany Pressley and she does a nice job with both the story and the character voices.

Last summer, I read and reviewed As the Stars Fall by Steve N. Lee and really enjoyed it. You can find my review here. When I heard he was publishing another Dog Novel for Adults, I requested the book to read and review. I was not disappointed. These books do not need to be read in order as they are both self-contained stories, but I recommend them both.
