I do enjoy historical fiction, especially when it deals with times and situations that I don’t know a lot about. Both of these books were perfect for educating me about something that had happened in the past and I didn’t know a lot about. February is Black History Month and I had planned on reading several books by Authors of Colour as well as books about Black history. Unfortunately, best laid plans and all that, I only read two of my list of 6 possible. One Non-Fiction: No Bootstraps When You’re Barefoot, and one Historical Fiction: The Personal Librarian. Both were excellent and I recommend them both.
