Mini-Reviews, Children’s Books

Once again, I am reviewing several children’s books that I read to my grandchildren. Most of these were a bit old for my granddaughter, but she still sat and listened well. My grandson gave his opinion or asked questions about most of them and I have included some of that in the reviews. All were provided by the publishers through Netgalley. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.

Saturday Morning, (or Evening), for Kids (December 21, 2019)

This meme was started by Rae Longest at Powerful Women Readers. As I am a grandmother, who loves to read to her grandchildren, a mother who loved to read to and with her children, and a retired teacher librarian, this meme really attracted me. If you love children’s books, or have a favourite from your childhood, join us in introducing them to a new generation of readers. Feel free to use my logo above, but link back to my post as well. All of the books below were provided to me through Netgalley. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own. Where possible, I have tried to include the thoughts and comments from my grandchildren, ages 3 and 6. Continue reading “Mini Reviews of Children’s Books”

Children’s Fiction: Mini-Reviews

Over the last couple of weeks, I have had a lot of opportunity to read with my three year old granddaughter. We have read many books together and she has become an avid connoisseur of books. She does have her own opinions and often shows what she thinks by her actions. I will include those in my reviews. All of the books reviewed here were provided by the publisher through Netgalley. The ratings, opinions and ideas shared are my own.
