Three Thrillers/Suspense Mini-Reviews: On a Quiet Street, The Best Friend, Sound of Darkness #BookReview #Audiobook @Bookouture @HarperAudio #2022AudiobookChallenge

Over the last week, I have had the opportunity to listen to three thriller/suspense stories. They were all very different from one another, but all enjoyable. I received all of these books from the publishers upon request. The rating and opinions shared are my own. I don’t hesitate to recommend any of these audiobooks.

Mini-Reviews of Two Romances: The Meet Cute Method, Second Chance Girl #BookReview #FinishingTheSeries2022

Two very different romances, one a rom-com, one a more serious but sweet story. Both were enjoyable, and both recommended.

Two Thriller Mini-Reviews: Take Your Breath Away, Never Coming Home #Audiobook #BookReview #2022AudiobookChallenge @HarperAudio @htp_books @WmMorrowBooks

I recently listened to two thrillers where wives are missing and presumed dead. Although that is the main plot in both books, they were very different from one another. They were both wonderful in their own way, and I recommend them both. Both of these books were provided to me by the publisher upon request. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

A few romance stories as summer approaches are always welcome. These three are all very different from one another, but all bring that couple together that the reader is rooting for. From New York, to London to the West Coast of the U.S., romance and love blossoms.

Three Historical Fiction Audiobooks with a Female Plot: Bloomsbury Girls, Bletchley Women, Little Souls #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @MacmillanAudio @0neMoreChapter_

I recently listened to these three, very different, historical fiction audiobooks. Bloomsbury Girls is set in London in the 1950s as the world is trying to recover from the devastation of WW2. The Bletchley Women is set during WW2, set around female code breakers. Little Souls is set in the US in 1918 when the world is still at war and dealing with the Spanish Flu Pandemic. What ties all these books together is that the main characters are all women. They are smart, strong, independent women trying to deal with and live in a male dominated world.

Audiobook Mini-Reviews: Starry-Eyed Love, The Wedding Season, The Homewreckers #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge @MacmillanAudio @HelenaHunting @KatyBirchall @mkayandrews

I really enjoyed all three of these audiobooks. There is some romance in each, but there is so much more. We have three women that are all dealing with situations in their lives that they are working on. You have a family trying to balance their lives and work responsibilities, a woman who was jilted the night before her wedding and one trying to prove she can do the job as a flipper as well as solve a mystery. I recommend all three of these books. I want to thank Macmillan Audio for providing me with a copy of the audiobooks. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

Audiobook Mini-Reviews: My Wife is Missing, Leave No Trace, The Violin Conspiracy #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge #BeatTheBacklist2022

A group of audiobooks that all have a mystery component, but also more. My Wife is Missing is a psychological thriller with a mystery and a cold case to solve. Leave No Trace is an FBI criminal investigation, but also has some history as well. Finally, The Violin Conspiracy, is a mystery blended with the music world and the racism and prejudice within it.

Romance Mini-Reviews: It Started With a Kiss, The Suite Spot, You Say It First #BookReview #Audiobook #2022AudiobookChallenge #BeatTheBacklist2022

All three of these romances were recommended to me by bloggers I follow. I read two of them, and listened to one. They were all different from one another, but I enjoyed them all. I definitely recommend any of them.
