Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!
This week’s topic is Spine Poetry
I am still in Florida and as I have finished books I brought with me, I have been leaving them in the libraries at the two resorts I have been staying at. That means that I don’t have very many physical books to look at. I selected five that I though went together, so here goes:
Spine Poem
The Japanese Lover,
after the rain.
Mother’s wedding dress,
a spool of blue thread,
The book of second chances.
There you have it, my Spine Poem using the books I have with me in Florida.
I am really looking forward to seeing what other people come up with for this prompt.
Can you make a poem from five books on your shelves?

That’s such a great piece of spine poetry and even more impressive when you only had a limited amount of books to choose from!

Thanks, Linda. When I get home, I am going to purge my shelves of physical books I am not going to honestly read. I think while I do this, I will create some spine poetry and post once every other week. Something different.
