Welcome to It’s Monday! What are you Reading? It’s hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind.
So it has been 10 weeks in Florida this past Friday, and I have less than 2 more weeks before I head back home. I sure hope spring has sprung by the time I get home at the end of March. I had another lazy week, catching up on things. I spent time at the pool with friends and played bingo, winning again. I never win, so am surprised I won twice in two weeks. I took the train from Kissimmee to Winter Park with some friends and wandered around the historic area. It was Monday, so all the museums were closed, so I guess I have to go another day before I head home. I have been enjoying watching Leafs Hockey and they are doing pretty good. I have caught up on Young Sheldon and am into season 3 of Outer Banks. I also watched a couple of movies, Burlesque and A Perfect Pairing on Netflix. Neither won any awards, but I enjoyed them. That’s about it for now, except to say that I have had a lot more time to read and listen to books this week, now that I am alone.
So, what did I read or listen to this week: I did a lot more reading this week, as well as catching up on blog hopping. I was able to read or listen to 11 novels and audiobooks this week. Only 6 were on my TBR that I set last Monday, so definitely some mood reading this week. I have reviewed them all, am caught up for 2023. Clicking on the cover will take you to my review. Clicking on the cover will take you to my review.
What Am I Reading Now:
What Will I Read Next? I’m not sure what I will read next, but my TBR has lots of choices. I have a few books I want to read for Reading Ireland, then I have some audiobooks that I got from the library (backlist books) that are due back, so I will try to listen to some of them. I have one to read for March for my 12 Friends, 12 Books challenge as well, and an audiobook that I need to listen to before the most recent which I have as an ARC. I also have several audibooks from NG that I need to finish ASAP. I will probably read or listen to something not on this list, but here are a few possibilities.
There you have it, which of the reading next books do you think I should pick up first? Have you read any of them? What are you reading this week?

It was a quiet week, nothing to do but read and listen to book, Rae. I’m not complaining though.

Hi Carla, I have the Rachel Joyce book but I haven’t read it yet. I will wait and see what you say about it first. I am listening to a very interesting book called Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie (Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie is a literarily rich novel that explores the themes of love, coming of age, reading, education, censorship and beauty through the story of three teenagers, two boys and one girl, affected by China’s Cultural Revolution) as well as The Black Garden (poetry) by Frank Prem and doing a Beta Read for a fellow author.

Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress sounds good. I do like books set in other countries as well as historical information. I posted my review of Maureen the other day, it is with the reviews of books with Mature Characters. You have a lot on the go, Robbie.

The Wedding Ranch was one I had a invite for, but alas, no time. I may still read it because it did look good. I hope you enjoy your final two weeks in FL.

I just finished The Wedding Ranch. It is a typical Nancy Naigle book, a bit of a Christian focus, family based with a bit of angst. A cleanser after two Crime Thrillers for me.

The TJR book was recommended by a friend for my challenge, so I shall see. This bingo is just fun by the pool. If you win you get an ice cream or a rum punch. I have won 4 times. Yummy.
