This year, my goal is Nonfiction Nosher: Read & review 12 books, one for each category. This will be hard for me, but I want to push myself to read more variety. I also want to read 24 nonfiction books (2 per month) as well as 24 children’s Non-Fiction books.

Thanks Susan. I am reading more than I used to, but still not a lot. Out of over 500 books last year, I read 24. 🤷♀️📚

I read few fiction books though enjoy an occasional memoir or biography depending on who. Impressive though, Carla, your challenges this year. Mercy–that’s some heavy reading.

I break them up with cozy mysteries and romance, so I don’t get bogged down. I love to learn and that is a good way to keep my mind sharp.

Reading from certain categories is a lot more difficult than reading a total number of nonfiction books. I wish you well. I think you will enjoy the reads.

Thanks Deb. I have read 2 already this year and enjoyed them both. They were very different from each other, which also helps keep my interest.

Going all out with this challenge—that’s awesome, Carla! NF is also very much not what I read but I’m hoping to read at least two this year. 😂 I wouldn’t even be a nipper but who knows, maybe I’ll surprise myself and even become a nibbler! Happy reading 😍

Good Luck Carla. I managed to read 12 last year and really enjoyed the different books as a change from fiction. I’m aiming for just 6 this year but it might go higher. I think reading one from each category is definitely going to make this more challenging.

Most of the challenges just try to keep me focused, this one actually challenges me to read something I wouldn’t normally pick up. I’ll see how I do, Sandy. 📚💖🤷♀️

Last year I got my 24 books in, but they were mostly memoirs or biographies. This year I am going to try and fit in the prompts, I shall see. Good luck to both of us.

I look at this challenge every year and then don’t do it because I really don’t want to read from all the categories, LOL! I do read nonfiction and have finished 8 this year. Have fun and good luck 🙂

When I first started this challenge a few years ago, I just tried to read 12 a year in any category, most were memoirs. Now I am trying to widen my choices. Thanks Cindy.
