Welcome to It’s Monday! What are you Reading? It’s hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind.
I have just finished my third week in Florida and am not reading as much as usual, but I am having a wonderful time. We are binge watching Poldark, and just began season 4. We also spent the weekend traveling up to Melbourne, Florida and attending a Renaissance Festival. We had a wonderful time and I really enjoyed myself. We also hit the outlets and filled my trunk with our purchases.
What I Read/Listened to this week: I was able to read or listen to only 4 novels and audiobooks this week. All were on my TBR that I set last Monday. I am all caught up on my reviews at this point. If you click on the cover, it will take you to my review.
What Am I Reading Now
What Will I Read Next? I’m not sure what I will read next, but my TBR has lots of choices. I am planning on listening to the last D.I. Kim Stone book already published, so I will be caught up on that series. I have some audiobooks that I received as ARCS that I haven’t listened to yet, so hopefully a couple of those will be next. Otherwise, I will play it by ear. Here a few possibilities.

Remember, you’re gonna want to read the DI Kim Stone books back-to-back…just sayin’💜
Warm spot for my former Indie author, Stacy Green. The woman can write mysteries!

I am listening to Six Graves right now and will start on Hidden Graves when I finish, thanks for the reminder, Jo. This was my first Stacy Green and wow, it was so good. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

I am glad you are having such a good time. I have always wanted to go to a Renaissance Faire too. Poldark is a good series We are having our first real snow in Oklahoma. I’m enjoying it, but I’m glad we are wintering here rather than the mountains of NM where we have had someone plow 3 times already in January. (But no complaints–the moisture is needed there!) Have a great week in sunny Florida!

I definitely recommend going to a Renaissance Fair, it is fun and very different from other fairs I have gone to. We had snow in Southern Ontario this week, but it is warming up again (high 30s) so it will all melt. Thanks Linda, I am enjoying the sunshine.

It’s sometimes tough to find activities that all three of my kids will enjoy. The oldest is almost 18, and the youngest is 11, so their interest are very different. But I feel like this could be fun for all of them! Definitely going to see if there are any in this area.

I saw a lot of families there, with kids of varying ages, so I think it would be a good choice. And all the outfits kept my head on a swivel.

A Renaissance Festival – how fun! I have never been to one, but I did just finished a book set in one. Looks like you read all mysteries last week. I see the Score book is on deck for this week. I am curious about that one.

I didn’t even realize that, Sam. The Renaissance Fair was so much fun. I love the Well Met series and this Fair had a lot of similarities but I don’t know about the behind the scenes stuff. 😂😂 I found the Lucy Score book on KU, so am going to give it a go.

You’re the second one who has recommended the Poldark series lately. Will have to watch it. Haven’t read any of the books you’ve listed but they look interesting. In fact, just got The God Wink book from the library – after seeing it on your blog. Happy reading and happy vacation!
