Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Marlene of Reading Reality. Itβs all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, Netgalley, Edelweiss or publishers,Β gifts or books you won. If you click on the covers, it will take you to Goodreads.Β
Last week I added 10 books/audiobooks to my shelves, and this week I added 20. However, because I have been layed up this week, I am on track to read/listen to 12 books/audiobooks. I still have 24 books/audiobooks pending between Netgalley and Edelweiss, so I won’t run out of things to read or listen to.Β
Netgalley: 15 Books
Blog Tours: 3 Books
Library: 1 Audiobook, 1 ebook
So, this week, I added 20 books/audiobooks π€π. I am on track to read or listen to 13 novels/audiobooks this week, so my TBR mountain grows a bit this week. ππ
What did you add to your shelves this week? Do any of these books appeal to you?

Thanks Yvo. I had been waiting for my name to go up the list for The Book of Cold Cases, at the library and it finally got there. I enjoyed her previous books, so am looking forward to it.

Such a great selection of books. You will have plenty to read during recuperation which I hope is short. TV shows and movies always show people being injured, and then they hop back up and keep going–FICTION! I have requested 3 of your choices–J.C. Eaton, Colleen Coble, and Liz Eeles. Then I put on the brakes and exercised that self-restraint that is going to be necessary if I ever want to catch up. ππ

Good for you Linda. I am glad you found some that call to you, yet were able to stop before you got carried away. I tried to do some stuff today, like cutting the grass. Bouncing around on the riding lawnmower was not a very smart thing to do. I am really sore tonight. My sister, who has had cracked ribs said it took her three weeks before she was up to do much.

It sounds like you tried to do too much too soon. Have patience with yourself. The things you think “have” to be done will still be there when you are healed.

I’m just not used to sitting around doing nothing. I am not a very good patient, but I have learned. I will not be doing much this week.

What a great haul Carla! Iβm most excited to see the Christmas reads! I know for some reading Christmas galleys to meet their August – October publication date is way too early, but Iβm happy to go right from summer reads to Christmas ones!

Thanks Sam. I was in a car accident last weekend and have some minor injuries that are nagging at me. I didn’t do much this week except read and sleep. I am doing much better, but still taking it easy.
