It’s that time again everyone. My annual Christmas in July Readathon. My goal is to read ten Christmas or Wintry stories during July. I am going to try to read all backlist books rather than the new ones for 2022. Here is my tentative list, but I may change the list as time goes on, and if I have time, I might read more than ten.
The oldest book on my list is from October 2016, and the most recent from February 2022. All of these book were already on my TBR.

I love this! I wish I had time for it. Maybe next year! 😉 I’ve read and enjoyed Home for Christmas and Christmas at Frozen Falls. I hope you enjoy them, too. ❤

I am not doing very well. It is 6 days in and I have only read one so far. I need to buckle down.

I plan to get Heidi Swan books once I finish reading Jenny Colgan books.

Hope you enjoy your Christmas in July! I could sure use some snow where I’m at… We’ll be exploring cities with an average of 40 degrees Celcius following us around in the next couple of days!!

I do like your strategy of reading the older books first, and with over 100 on your backlist you had plenty to choose from. As you might guess, I absolutely love the cover of Finding a Christmas Home. I hope it is as sweet as it looks to be.

Yes, it is adorable. I have read a couple of others in that series and loved them, so I am confident it will be a good one.

Thanks Sheri. I do this, then take a break for a couple of months. Cools me off in the heat of the summer. 😁

These are all backlist books, so they should be easy to get a hold of. I hope they are all good ones.

Goodness, that’s a lot of Christmas books–in July. The CE is currently watching an interminable Christmas story on Netflix, The Christmas Prince. OMG, reminded me of The Good Witch–I swear the man will watch anything.

Hmm, I will have to check it out. I do like Christmas movies as much as Christmas books.

I hope you enjoy all of these, Carla! Lizzie’s Christmas Escape sounds super cute. I have two Christmas themed books to read this month. One’s a contemporary romance and one is historical. Happy reading!

I am a big fan of Christmas set stories! I enjoyed Christmas in Vermont and hope you do too. I have noticed that there are fewer Christmas novels coming out in September and October this year compared to the past two years.

I think a lot will start showing up in July and August, but only time will tell. I have over 100 on my backlist, so I won’t run out of Christmas books for the next few years. 😁🎄📚
