Canada Day is observed on July 1 each year in Canada, celebrating the “birthday” of Canada—the July 1, 1867 enactment of the Constitution Act which united three British colonies into a new country called Canada.
This is the first holiday of summer and Canadians all over the world will celebrate with parties, BBQs, fireworks, camping and spending time with family. I think we all need to laugh in our lives, so here are a few fun facts about Canada along with some Canadian Humour.

I was in the South of France on that day! Resting by pool, not thinking of a single stressful thing in life. 😀

While I was aware of some of those ‘Canadian’ things, some of those were new to me. Thanks for sharing!

What fun lists. I had to look up Canadian Tire Money and double-double. In Uruguay we had to buy our milk by the bag. Since our accommodations did not have a pitcher, we had to scramble to buy one for our stay. In Mexico, the most popular way to buy milk is in boxes which need no refrigeration before opening. We take our huge refrigerators for granted north of the border! Happy Canada Day!

Thanks Linda. 😄 Funny how we assume people know the same things. Have a fantastic 4th of July.
