I wasn’t going to do this challenge this year, but I have a “Q” and “X” already on the radar, so thought I would try again this year. I actually completed it in 2020, the first time in four years.
This reading challenge is created and hosted by Megan and Crystal from GingerMomAndCompany and they’ve been doing this for three years now. I rediscovered it through Macsbooks and now will share it with you. This really shouldn’t be too difficult, should it? I am not going to put any restrictions on this challenge, just try to finish one for each letter.
As of August 31st: 24/26 (Q & Z still to come)
A – All Things Bright and Beautiful by James Herriot
B – (The) Broken Ones by Carla Kovach
C – Can’t Judge a Book by Its Mystery by Amy Lillard
D – Dying To Meet You by Rich Amooi

F – Fairy Godmothers Inc. by Saranna DeWylde

K – (The) Keepsake Sisters by Lori Wilde

Good luck with this one Carla! I have tried in the past to do these too but I never seem to get any X Netgalley reads so they never get completed.🤣

Thanks Carrie. I use any book that has an X in it, as that is pretty much the only way I can get that letter. I have a hard time with Z.

True, I’ve only come across a handful of Z’s too over the years. Just a tough challenge even though it sounds easy.

Since you are a prolific reader, it should be easier for you–especially since you have the tough letters accomplished! Yay!

I like it because I don’t really try for most of the letters, just the more difficult ones like J, X, Q, Z for me.

Looks like you are doing brilliant so far! I wasn’t going to join either, but I made a private list for fun and ended up completing it already… I used The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez for the Z (which I’m not sure is cheating or not).

Great work, Yvo. My list was private until yesterday when I realized I had almost finished it. I don’t think it is cheating. I used Exit for my X book. I found a MG book about zombies that I think I might use for Z.

I used Exit for my X book too! Some letters are just too hard to find without adapting the rules a little…

This looks like a lot of fun, and you’re doing so well!! Can’t wait to see if you find anything for Z. That’s a toughie!

It is such an easy challenge. I really didn’t have to work too hard except for Q, X and Z. I found an MG book about Zombies, so I am going to use that one for now and see if I find anything else down the road.

Thanks Michelle. I think I found a Z book, but it is Middle grades. Still works if I can’t find anything else.

I’m thinking of cheating and finding a book that ends with a Z

I like this one because besides a handful of titles, I really don’t have to try to hard.

What a great list of books! X and Z are a struggle for me too. Hopefully I’ll get them done 🤞

Most of the Z books don’t interest me, but I guess that is why it is a challenge. I hope we both find one that interests us. 📚🤞

The problem is, most of the Z titles I find don’t interest me. I will keep looking.

I have this challenge in my Always Fully Booked Planner that I got from Little Inklings Designs. I haven’t been trying really hard to fill it out but as of right now I am only missing 3 letters and those are x, y & z.

I wasn’t trying to fill it out either, but Q and Z always leave me scrambling. Let’s hope we both find those last few letters, Misty.
