It’s the start of another week. It’s Monday! What are you Reading is hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. I have several books on the go, and some others I hope to get to, so here goes.
What I Read/Listened to this week: I was all over the place this week and did not stick to my TBR this week, with 7 books read or listened to that were not on my TBR. This week I read/listened to 14 books, and have posted all my reviews. Clicking on the cover will take you to my review.
What Are You Reading Now?
What Will I Read Next? I a few blog tour coming up, so will read that book first, then mix it up between Cozy Mysteries, Christmas and some ARCS. I also have three library books that are due back soon, that I need to get to. As you can see, I have lots to choose from this week, and do not expect to get to all of these by next Monday. I am going to try hard to choose from this TBR over the next week.

Your reading plans are always so much more ambitious than mine Carla. I am in awe!

You are right when you use the term “plans” as I am totally off my plan this week.

You have such a great selection of books to read. The thrillers, which I don’t read anyway, really turn away my reading appetite this morning. I am definitely in the mood for light, fun, or cozy. I have almost finished The First Christmas, and it will have my longest review ever, I believe. I almost stopped after a few chapters with the intention of skimming, but that didn’t seem fair to the author, the book, or blog readers who want to know about the book.

There were parts of The First Christmas that I enjoyed, and others, not so much. Overall it was a positive experience for me. I am interested to see what you think about it. I have to mix the thrillers in with cozy, romances and uplifting books, but I do enjoy them for their gripping stories.

Wow, you’re getting a lot of reading done! I wish I could get through 7 books in a week. I’m going to do some marathon reading over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Love Maisey Yates and have enjoyed Melinda Leigh in the past, too. Good luck in writing your reviews! 🙂

Thanks Rachel. Our weather was not very good last week, rain and windy, so I spent a lot of time sitting by the fireplace reading. I don’t think I will ever catch up, but I will try. 🤞😀
