This week – September 21, 2021: Books on my Autumn/Fall TBR list.
I always have a crazy To Be Read list, but there are several books that I really want to get read over the next couple of months. I will begin my Christmas reading, but I am not going to include them on this list.

Autumn Skies (Bluebell Inn Romance #3) by Denise Hunter: Although this is the third book in the series, you do not need to read the others. Each story is about a different sibling in the family. I did enjoy the first two and recommend this series.

Autumn Dreams at Mermaids Point (Mermaids Point #2) by Sarah Bennett: I really enjoy Sarah Bennett’s writing and I should use this for two books, as I want to read the first book in this series before reading this one.

Thankfully in Love: A Thanksgiving Anthology by Anna J. Stewart, Kayla Perrin, Melinda Curtis, and Cari Lynn Webb: This is a book that I wanted to read last fall and ran out of time, so I definitely want to read it this year. I am not familiar wit Kayla Perrin, but the other three authors are ones that I enjoy.

The Haunting at Bonaventure Circus by Jaime Jo Wright is a book that is on my list to complete The 52 Book Club, it features a character that has been adopted. I also like the darker wine colour that reminds me of fall leaves.

The Last Beekeeper by Siya Turabi: I just got a copy of this audiobook and really look forward to listening to it. I have heard great things about the book as well as the cover giving off an autumn vibe in its colours.

The Gold in These Hills by Joanne Bischof: I have not read much about the California Gold Rush, so this book appeals to me. With dual timelines being during the gold rush and in a deserted ghost town in the present. It sounds like one I would enjoy and look at those fall colours.

The Café between Pumpkin and Pie by Marina Adair, Kate Angell, and Stacy Finz: Whenever I think about the fall, my mouth waters in anticipation of all the pumpkin flavoured treats, coffee, snacks etc. This one just cries fall.

First Girl To Die (Detective Morgan Brookes #4) by Helen Phifer: I have been enjoying the Detective Morgan Brookes series and this is the newest in to come out at the beginning of October. I recommend this series.

A Letter From Nana Rose by Kristin Harper: Kristin Harper is an author that I have enjoyed in the past. This book will be published at the end of October, so right in the heard to autumn here in North America. Don’t you just love that cover as well?

The Family Plot by Megan Collins: This another audiobook that I just got a copy of. This book has a bit of a gothic, spooky feel to it, so I thought it would be perfect to read in October. November 7: 7/10
So, there you have it, ten books on my Autumn/Fall TBR. I hope to read or listen to all of these over the next six weeks, but we shall see how that works out. What about you, what book/books are on your Autumn TBR? Do any of these books appeal to you?

The cover for Autumn Skies is so beautiful, and the series is a good one. When I see a cover like that, I regret not having the book in my hands.

Oooh, such a fallish-themed tbr! I’m crazy for pumpkin flavored things, too. I’ve already made my first pumpkin muffins of the season. 😉 Happy Reading!

I haven’t made any yet, but I have enjoyed both Pumpkin lattes and pumpkin iced cappacuinos at my local Starbucks and Tim Hortons.

I’m always thinking I don’t see many autumn books but I see you have found quite a few of them so maybe it’s just me not being as attracted to them as I am the beachy or Christmas covers.🤣

There aren’t as many for sure, but enough to get my fill this year.

Another great list. I read Autumn Dreams at Mermaids Point and had not read the first book, and it was good as a stand alone. But, It would be a bit better to read them all in order.

Unfortunately it’s not available for me. I feel like throwing a huge tantrum! This just seems to be happening more and more often. 🤬

I am so sorry to hear that. I know I miss out on a lot that are available in the UK, but not here. They are sometimes available at a later time though, maybe the same….. 🤗

That’s what normally happens, Carla. The latest Sally Hepworth has only just become available for me to request. And of course, they usually have different covers which makes it even more confusing!❤📚
I often log into the UK website and request from there as well. 😉

Sally Hepworth’s newest just became available for me as well. I do the same, but often they still decline me due to my country of residence. 😀📚🤞

I started THE GOLD IN THESE HILLS, but it’s very slllooowwww, so I’ve put it aside for now. I love the time period and the premise. I just need a plot that moves a little faster. I’ll come back to it when I’m feeling more patient 🙂 I’ll be interested to see what you think of it and all these others.
Happy TTT!

That was the first thing that attracted me to it, Deanna, but the synopsis sounds like one I would enjoy, but a time in history I don’t know a lot about, so win/win.
