Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews and Marlene of Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, Netgalley, Edelweiss or publishers, gifts or books you won. If you click on the covers, it will take you to Goodreads (I hope). Once again, I added more books to my TBR than I had planned. I have absolutely no willpower, especially when it comes to books and reading.
Netgalley: 12 books, 2 audiobook (1 other audiobooks, but they were already on my shelf)
Edelweiss: 3 books
Library, Amazon purchases, KU: 2 books, 4 Audiobooks
I added 17 ebooks this week and 6 audiobooks for a total of 23 new additions to Mount TBR. I am on track to read and listen to a total of 11 books/audiobooks, so my TBR continues to grow, ready to topple at any moment. 😁⛰📚 If it crushes me, I will die happy. 😂😂
What did you add to your shelves this week? Do any of these books appeal to you?

I waited a whole day to read your post Carla! I knew as soon. As I saw the covers I would run to Netgalley! Guess where I’m going now?🙄 I must have that Hallmark book and a few others! Excellent haul my friend! Happy reading!🌻🌞☕📚💜🤗

I am doing much better at slowing down on my requests. I read a lot when I was in Mexico and have been in transition ever since. It was initially hard for me to accept the change, but I think I am going into a season where I will need to have less pressure in the reading realm and God has been preparing me for that. The only book on your list that I have read is Anxious for Nothing, and I thought it was very good.

I am just finishing up You Are Not Alone. We did a Zoom study on it and it was so good. I am reading Anxious for Nothing on my own, although there is a study guide that I might get. I am glad that you are settling in and becoming more comfortable with all the changes you have had in your life. Yes, God has a plan for all of us and it is great to see you finding your path.

That’s my problem, Laurie. They look appealing so I want to read them, even though time is limited. 😁📚💖

I know, too good to not request or get from the library. I need to slow down though, as I don’t read as much in the summer with family and friends coming over to use the pool.

We have several of the same choices as usual Carla and I need to adapt your attitude of not feeling guilty and just enjoying the reading.😂

I am not surprised we have a lot of similar books Carrie. If it becomes a chore, I don’t want to do it anymore.

The reading part has never become a chore at all which is why I still have trouble passing anything up. Over the last year though I’ve had a hard time carving out time to do the writing afterwards but I’m getting better, hopefully. LOL

I’m with you there. I am trying to catch up on reviews this weekend, which is why it seems like a read a lot, but they are just late reviews.
