Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
There are some crazy crayola crayon names, so this should be pretty easy. I will give the title, then tell you what I think the colour might look like.
Peach Clobbered: I can envision this colour as a peach colour with a brown tint to it, as if the peach was bruised.
Ansley’s Big Bake Off: I can picture nicely browned cookies. In this book Ansley’s signature recipe was Blondies, so I picture this as a tan or light brown colour like the colour of a Blondie.
The book is called The Path To Sunshine Cove, but I would just call my colour, Sunshine Cove. This would be a shimmery blue like the sun shining on the water.
Charmingly Yours: This would be a pale pink, very similar to the colour on the cover of this book.
The Trouble With Picket Fences: Picket fences are usually white, but that is a colour that doesn’t get used much because it doesn’t show up. My crayon would be white, but with a gray or silver tint. That way it would get used more.
The Last Goodbye: This colour would be a cross between a royal and dark blue. Something that reminds you of melancholy.
You Are My Rainbow: This is self-explanatory. It would be striped crayon with the colours of the rainbow.
A Minute to Midnight: This would be a very dark gray, not quite black but close.
Frogness: This would be a greenish brown with yellow glitter in it.
Cross Her Heart: A deep red, the colour of blood.
So, there you have it. My ten choices for Crayola Crayon Colours. What do you think, would you use any of these crayons?
