Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews and Marlene of Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, Netgalley, Edelweiss or publishers, gifts or books you won. If you click on the covers, it will take you to Goodreads (I hope).
I am a day late with this post, as I was very busy yesterday, but better late than never. I did better requesting books this week, but I did get a lot of freebies from Amazon this week. Here goes, I hope you see something to pique your interest.
Netgalley: 5 novels I couldn’t resist
Blog Tours: 4 books for tours over the next month
Audiobooks for Review: 5 novels (I did get a couple others, but already had the ebooks and highlighted them)
Library: 1 audiobook, 1 novel
As I mentioned earlier, I also got a bunch of books from Amazon that were offered free this week. Susan of SUSANLOVESBOOKS posted a link to hundreds of free romance books. I only grabbed eight of them, so not too bad, but I have not added them to my Goodreads lists yet, so am not highlighting them here this week.
Quite a few new addition this week. I have 15 ARCs added and 2 books from the library for a total of 17. I am on track to read 6 books and listen to another 5 audiobooks for a total of 11. My TBR continues to grow, ready to topple at any moment. 😁⛰📚 If it crushes me, I will die happy. 😂😂
What did you add to your shelves this week? Do any of these books appeal to you?

The Cafe Between Pumpkin and Pie looks fun. I love the title. I look forward to your tour reviews coming up. Beyond a Broken Sky is a book I think I would enjoy. And The House Swap. I hope you enjoy all of these books, Carla! Have a great week!

Thanks Wendy. This is why I have such a huge TBR, they all sound so good and I can’t decide what I want to read. I hope they are all as good as I anticipate.

Good luck with your blog tours. I have so much reading to do that I dare not do a tour😂📚

I only sign up for a tour if it is a book that I wanted to read and had on my TBR already, I have cut way back on blog tours, it seemed like I was doing one every other day and that took away from just reading what I wanted.

Great selection Carla! I requested the audio of the Linwood Barclay as soon as I saw it, but so far nothing. 🤷♀️ I have the ebook of Lenni and Margot, but haven’t seen the audio pop up on my feed. Off to take a look! Happy reading my friend!

I got both those audiobooks from the PR guy I deal with at HarperAudio, Sandy. NG did not come through for me. I am really looking forward to both of them. 📚🎧💖

I’ve got Linwood Barclay’s book, which I’m itching to get to, but I promised the publisher not to review it too early so I’m sitting on my hands. I’m also looking for the right time to read Obama’s book.

Great choices, Carla💜 I got the Linwood Barclay book, too. And, I need to set aside some time for Obama’s book! I’ve heard it’s really good.
Enjoy everything!

Thanks Jo. Obama’s book is long, so when I finally listen to it, I will need a good chunk of time. I was happy to get Linwood Barclay’s book because I had been declined on EW and still pending on NG. I am ready for some great reading/listening over the next couple of weeks.

Fantastic selection Carla especially Lennie and Margot. I requested that from NetGalley ages ago but it didn’t happen!

Thanks Nicki. I did as well and it was never declined, just never approved. When Harper Collins offered me the audiobook to review, I snapped it up. I have read so many wonderful reviews.
