For the month of March, my focus will be Reading Ireland or Begorrathon. #readingirelandmonth2021. I will not be a full fledge participant, but I do hope to read a minimum of 4 books (1 per week) about Ireland, having an Irish protagonist, or written either by an Irish author or author with Irish roots.

Reading Ireland is hosted by Cathy at 746 Books and her partner in crime Niall of  Raging Fluff. This is the seventh year she has hosted, but only the second that I have participated in. I love all the Irish posts Cathy shares with us during the month. She will feature film reviews, poems, music, interviews, and giveaways on her blog. If you need some inspiration, check out Cathy’s list of 100 Irish Novels and 100 Novels by Irish Women Writers. You can also connect with Cathy on Facebook. When you post on social media, be sure to use her hashtags #readingirelandmonth21 and #begorrathon21.

I originally posted a TBR of 12 possible books, but below are the 9 that I actually read.

The Dead House
The Pull of the Stars

The Dead House by Billy O’Callaghan, Milkman by Anna Burns, Pull of the Stars by Emma Donaghue, The Liberation of Brigid Dunne by Patricia Scanlan
