It’s the start of another week. It’s Monday! What are you Reading is hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. I have several books on the go, and some others I hope to get to, so here goes. I still have 6 reviews to write, so only a handful of these will connect to reviews. If I bombard you with reviews over the next couple of days, you will understand why.
What I Read/Listened to or finished this week: I read 4 ebooks and listened to 9 audiobooks for a total of 13 books. I only had my granddaughter for 2 days this past week, so was able to get more books read or listened to. I also went rogue this week and read books that were not on my planned TBR, I was definitely a mood reader this week.
What Am I Reading Now?
What Am I Reading Next? Well, I have a lot of books that I want to read/listen to this week, but with home schooling until the end of the month, I know I won’t get them all read, but I am always optimistic. Here are nine that I hope to choose from this week.

Yes, I am enjoying them. Harper Audio is re-releasing the series and they are narrated by one of my favourite narrators. I am not happy with how much was changed for the Netflix series, but I can live with it. I am going to keep going. 😊📚🎧💜

I really liked it. I posted reviews for both Dear Martin and Dear Justyce yesterday. Excellent books, ones that everyone needs to read.

Fortunately, I only have the one and she is only in JK, so it is not too difficult. 😁💖

So many excellent titles! I hope you will enjoy Uriah Heep and I’m hoping to read The House In The Cerulean Sea soon as well… I keep hearing fantastic things about it! Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

I hope to start listening to Uriah Heep soon. I tried reading the hardcover book, but the print was way to small, it bothered it my eyes. I used an audible credit and bought it instead. Have a great week as well.

You can’t go wrong with a James Herriott book. I know you’ll enjoy your home schooling time–and then crash with a good read!

Look at all the wonderful reading you did! I am reading Marion Lane and the Midnight Hour at the moment and so have saved your review to read later. I read In Five Years last year and enjoyed it. I hope you did too! I hope you are enjoying your current reads. You have a lot of good sounding ones coming up. I’m especially interested in hearing what you think of The Nightmare Thief and The Girl From the Channel Islands. I hope you have a great week, Carla!

I loved In Five Years, Wendy. It was quite emotional but really good. I have to get my review for that one written. I am looking forward to seeing what you think of Marion Lane. I hope I can get all the books on my weekly TBR read or listened to this week.

It was very intense. Not what I was expecting at all. I did like it, but had to read something light after I finished it. I will post my review later today I hope. Did you post your review yet? I am trying to catch up on blog posts today.

Sounds like you had a great reading/listening week, Carla! Which books did you read when you went rogue? Did you enjoy them more because they hadn’t been planned?

In Five Years, Just in Time, I See You and Of Literature and Lattes were not on my radar. I think Unwilling and The Traitor were so heavy, I needed some lighter reads to balance them out. I actually loved 3/5 of them and the other was still good just not great.
