It’s the start of another week. It’s Monday! What are you Reading is hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. I have several books on the go, and some others I hope to get to, so here goes.
What I Read/Listened To This Week: I read most of what I had planned for the week plus more. I listened to a lot of audiobooks while sewing and baking.
What Am I Reading Now?
What Am I Reading Next? A few for blog tours, others my choice.

I really want to read a Jessica Redlands book some time, Carla. I hope you enjoy that one and also The Last Train to London? That was such an amazing story. I think it’s a perfect read for right now- offering hope from the goodness in people. Enjoy your books! ♥️

Thanks Jennifer. I’m glad to hear you say that about The Last Train to London, as others say it might be too heavy for these times. I am looking forward to getting to it.

I loved both The Last Train to London and The Last List of Miss Judith Kratt – both were 5/5 from me!

I added Judith Kratt to my TBR after reading your wonderful review and endorsement Davida, Carol at Reading Ladies hooked me on The Last Train. You both broaden my reading.

You read so many great books last week! What did you think of Diane in The Mother-in-law?

I didn’t like her at all at the beginning, but as I got into the story, I started to understand more. Having said that, she should have told her family about her past and why she felt the way she did, it would have solved so many problems.

I wish I could get through as many books as you do it a week. My problem is I can’t seem to read during the day for some reason. 99% of the time I pick up my book to read at like 7 or 8 pm very rarely do I read during the day and I don’t know why.

Right now I am probably listening to 75% of the books I read. I do it while baking, cleaning, sewing etc. Otherwise, i wouldn’t read nearly as many. Living alone also helps, lots of reading time.

I literally spend all my time needlessly scrolling through social media and watching YouTube videos. I live with 3 other people so I don’t really have a whole lot to do so I waste my time apparently lol.

I have to watch myself or I can get carried away with facebook and games. I don’t go on Youtube very often, so I am safe there.

It was a good story, the ending was not what I was expecting, but it fit perfectly.

I have been conversing via Zoom weekly with some ladies from my church. We decided to do an online book club, and our first book is This Road We Traveled by Jane Kirkpatrick. So I finished up the cozy I was on and began this one last night.

Sounds awesome. We have done visits with my church women group, but not taken on anything like a book club, although that may come next. We all just bought The Red Sea Rules by Robert J. Morgan, so that might be the one we use. Good luck.

Thanks Susan. That’s where audiobooks are perfect, while you unpack those stupid boxes, you can listen to a book. I am listening to 75% of what I am reading right now.
