Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga Reviews and Marlene of Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, Netgalley, Edelweiss or publishers, or gifts. The last few weeks I have practised relative restraint, but this week, that went out the window.
Netgalley: 12 Novels
Upcoming Blog Tours: 4 novels
Audiobooks for Review: 1 Audiobook
Library, Hoopla, Scribd: 4 books/audiobooks
Amazon Freebies or Sale Books I picked up: 2 Christmas Novels
So you can see, I went a bit overboard this week. 13 ARCs, 4 blog tour books and 6 to read whenever I have time for a total of 23 additions to Mount TBR, actually only 19 as the 4 from the library and scribd were already on the TBR. I read/listened to 7 novels and 10 children’s books for 17 off the TBR, so I built up that mountain again this week.
I hope you have some good books on your shelves.
Do any of these books appeal to you? Which ones would you read first?
Have a wonderful week everyone.

I also got an ARC of “Nine Elms” because I’ve heard so much hype about the book. I just started reading “Silent Patient” this morning.

I have mixed feelings about Silent Patient. I will be posting my review shortly. I am interested in what you think about it, Lynne. I hope Nine Elms is as good as I am anticipating.

Ha ha. Who can practice restraint when there are so many awesome-looking books to read? VEILED IN SMOKE and WHERE THE LOST WANDER both look particularly good to me. I’m adding them to my TBR list on Goodreads. Thanks for the heads-up – I hadn’t heard of either one before this.

I am a very eclectic reader, which is not good for Mount TBR. I hope you get approved for those two Susan and that you enjoy them.

I was an avid requester this week. 🙋♀️☝️ I love to share my habit with others. 😁 All kidding aside, there were a lot of inviting choices this week. 📚📚📚 Enjoy any new ones you select Sandy. 😄

I had to finally get Ask Again, I had read so many awesome reviews and a lot of people saying it is the best this year. I did not read Sand and Ash, but I heard it was very good.

I like the faith themes in Sand and Ash….a catholic priest and Jewish girl fall in love and have quite the theological discussions!
Ask Again Yes isn’t the easiest read in places …I loved the themes of reconciliation and healing at the end…it’s not a perfect book but overall I can highly recommend! Let me know what you think!

I just finished listening to The Silent Patient and am pondering my review. Lots of good, but a few things bothered me too. Enjoy the six you have.

I really need to add Nine Elms to my shelf, too. Hope you enjoy The Unhoneymooners & Ask Again, Yes. I certainly did, though the second one took a bit to develop.
Enjoy them all, Carla💜
