5 Stars:

This was a fun story about friendship, helping others, some romance and reaching for your dreams. Lauren wants to open her own business. She has been saving and if she wins The Hashtag Hunt there is a $10,000.oo prize, which will be enough for her to act on her dream of opening a store. Her BFF, Ivy is helping her and their adventures during the evening are so much fun. They meet a couple of hotties and with all Lauren’s friends, she is able to send in some awesome Hashtag photos.

This was an original story that really entertained me and had me stopping everything while I listened to this story. It was an ensemble cast with Lauren, Ivy, Brenner and Scott all playing big roles in the story. The characters were wonderful. They were funny, loyal, helpful and determined to get the best pictures they could. I loved the banter and flirting in the book. This was a fun, hilarious, enjoyable and heartwarming story that I loved. I listened to the audiobook and it was extremely well done. Andrea Emmes and Tim Paige did a great job with the various voices. They were able to show emotion, humour and the personality of the characters with their expression. I definitely recommend this story to anyone who just wants a fun and enjoyable story to read or listen too. It reminded me a bit of stories that I enjoy by Christina Lauren. I received a copy of this audiobook from Caffeinated PR upon my request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.

The Hashtag HuntAbout the Book: The only reason Lauren entered the Hashtag Hunt was for the $10,000 grand prize. She needed seed money for her startup, and it sounded easy enough: twelve hours to text twelve photos to someone called the Wizard. For hashtag number five, Lauren needs a #HottieInTheWild, and with the help of her best friend, Ivy, she finds the perfect subject.

The only reason Brenner entered Barkley’s Pub was to have beers with Scott, an Army brother back in town. The reunion is interrupted when a woman is caught crouched in a dark corner, taking pictures of Brenner. Lauren explains, and though embarrassed, she accepts Scott and Brenner’s offer to help with hashtag number six.

While hunting for hashtags, Lauren finds adventure and romance with her #Hottie, but she must stay focused to beat the clock and win the cash.
