If you saw my post for the beginning of April, I decided to make a list of what I would read during the month. I was a bit apprehensive as I have a problem sticking to lists. It was also a bit daunting as to the number I had put on that list. There were 20 books on the list, and I had them categorized. Well, I finished 15 of them and am in the middle of the 16th. Not too bad at all. If you want to check the list, it is here.

However, I did read or listen to many that were not on the list. This included 24 children’s picture books as well as:

Who Moved My Goat Cheese? (Farm-to-Fork Mystery #1) by Lynn Cahoon

Rosie by Bill Whiting

The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth

The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America’s Shining Women by Kate Moore

A Dog’s Journey (A Dog’s Purpose, #2) by W. Bruce Cameron

Rosie Hopkins’ Sweetshop of Dreams by Jenny Colgan

Charmed (Fairy Tale Reform School, #2) by Jen Calonita

Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris

Paint the Town Dead (Aurora Anderson Mystery #2) by Sybil Johnson

A Palette for Murder (Aurora Anderson Mystery #3) by Sybil Johnson

Tricked (Fairy Tale Reform School #3) by Jen Calonita

Assaulted Caramel (Amish Candy Shop Mystery, #1) by Amanda Flower

Lethal Licorice (Amish Candy Shop Mystery, #2) by Amanda Flower

As I typed out this list, I realized that I read a lot of books this month. I actually listened to 10 of them. I have come to enjoy audio books. I can listen when I am doing mundane tasks like laundry, dishes, cooking, driving etc. So my grand total for April was 28 novels and 24 picture books, not including the many picture books I own that I read to my grandchildren and my niece’s kids. I am actually a bit surprised about the number, but I think it was because of the audio books. Now to see what I want to read in May.
